Prayer Ministry

Our aim is to ensure that our Church activities are covered in prayer, as we seek the Lord’s face before an activity is even started.

Each year starts with the annual 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting in January so that we get our hearts in tune with God for the year ahead. In September we hold a week of fervent prayer leading up to our Vision Reloaded meeting, along with a Prayer Retreat.

Please join us for our regular times of prayer:

  • Prayer every Sunday at 07:45 and during the second Service at 10:00-11:00 (Prayer Room)
  • Prayer Breakfast on the first Saturday of the month at 007:30 – 09:30 (Hub)
  • Prayer between the morning services at 09:30 – 10:00 on the third Sunday of the month (Prayer Room)
  • Men’s Prayer Meeting on Wednesdays at 07:30 – 08:30 (Prayer Room)

At each of our Sunday services, we pray for the persecuted Church, selecting one of the countries on the Open Doors World Watch List.  Also during each service, we pray corporately for South Africa on a topic relevant for that week.

Northcliff Union also has a Prayer Chain, with prayer requests sent out weekly by email to our faithful prayer partners.  If you would like us to pray for you, please contact the Church Office or share your prayer request with us by completing a green slip which you will find in the pew. Our Prayer Ministry is keen to support you and your family through life’s challenges.
